We recognise that these conditions can affect people very differently. Care is therefore individually designed around the person’s abilities, symptoms, clinical risks, rehabilitation goals, lifestyle and aspirations.

Spinal Cord Injury Care
Our spinal cord injury support is designed to help people maximise their independence while safely managing the complex physical and health needs associated with their injury.
Depending on assessed needs, support may include:
- Bowel and bladder management
- Catheter care
- Skin integrity and pressure-area management
- Specialist moving and handling
- Hoisting and transfers
- Positioning and repositioning
- Medication support
- Nutrition and hydration
- Respiratory support where appropriate
- Recognition and management of condition-specific risks
- Rehabilitation activities and exercises
- Community access
- Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy attendance
Acquired Brain Injury Care
We provide individualised support for people living with an acquired brain injury, focused on safety, rehabilitation, independence, daily living and achieving personally meaningful outcomes.
Support is tailored around the individual’s cognitive, physical, emotional, behavioural and social needs.
Supporting Rehabilitation
We can work alongside case managers, rehabilitation teams, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, specialist nurses and other professionals involved in the person’s rehabilitation.
Where someone is preparing to leave hospital or a specialist rehabilitation setting, we can work with the multidisciplinary team to plan and mobilise the appropriate care package for their return home.
